Do I need a NUANS report?
If you would like to start your own business and would like to be a named corporation the first step you will need to do is obtain a NUANS Report.
What is a NUANS Report?
A NUANS Report is required if you would like to be a named corporation. Such report reserves your name for 90 days and within 90 days you should file for incorporation. We are able to obtain a NUANS Report for the following jurisdictions: Federally and in the provinces of Alberta, New Brunswick, North West Territories, Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Prince Edward Island.
How long does a NUANS report take?
We are able to obtain a NUANS Report for you within 30 minutes. Your order will be processed during our regular business hours Monday to Friday, with the exception of public holidays.
What does NUANS stand for?
NUANS is an acronym for “Newly Upgraded Automated Name Search”
How do I know if my company name is available?
Our complete package includes pre-screening of your proposed name against any exact matches. This means we will search your name prior to obtaining a report. If we find an exact match we will notify you and you may submit an additional two names for pre-screening, however only one NUANS report is provided.
